Imperius Profanus is a black metal band from Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, founded in 2009 by Lord Blasphemation, formerly of Profanos. The band released their debut demo Barbaria in early 2009, followed by the full-length Império Profano in 2017 via Ad Bellum Records. Their lyrical content centres on Satanism and occultism.
Impery was a black metal band from Caracas, Venezuela, active from 2005 until their eventual split-up, releasing music on Satanarsa Records. The band built a substantial catalog rooted in anti-Christian and Satanic themes, spanning early demos through three full-lengths: "I" (2013), "Ars Goetia" (2015), and "II - La mirada muerta de la serpiente" (2017), with a final album, "Cristo fue mortal," appearing in 2019. Their Bandcamp page presents a dark aesthetic consistent with their occult lyrical focus.
Impetuoso Desdém is a black metal band from Embu das Artes, São Paulo, Brazil, active since 2009 with a sound rooted in Satanism, blasphemy, and war themes. The band released the EP Luxúria... Blasfêmia Eterna in 2009, appeared on the three-way split Impetuous Infernal Terror (2012) alongside Infernal Execrator and Terror Satan, and issued their debut full-length The World Needs a Holocaust (The New Age, A Primitive World) in 2014 through Nyarlathotep Records, Terrorismo Produções, and Ventos da Morte Records. The lineup includes Harrison Cadáver on vocals and guitar, Laercius Murdergod on guitar, Annubis on bass, and Lord Agnaldus on drums.
Impurity is a black metal band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and one of the foundational acts in the Brazilian black/death metal underground. Active since 1988, their early output was released through the legendary Cogumelo Records, including the album Into the Ritual Chamber (1996) and Satanic Metal Kingdom, both of which helped define the raw, Satanic extremity of the South American black metal scene. Their prolific career spans more than eight full-length albums alongside splits and demo recordings.
In Nomine Belialis is a black metal band from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, operating in the city's long-established extreme metal tradition. Their discography spans multiple releases including Por Satanás (2015) and La Messe Noir (2017), the latter described as a summation of the band's entire history combining older compositions with newer material into an impure, anti-Christian assault. They have been associated with Cogumelo Records, the legendary Belo Horizonte label that helped birth the South American extreme metal scene.
Incineracion is a thrash metal band formed in 2018 in Melipilla, Chile, self-described as a "rotten Thrash Metal band" rooted in aggression and speed. Lyrically the album engages themes of antifascism, anti-colonialism, and opposition to religious hypocrisy, placing the band within the Red and Anarchist Black Metal tradition.
Inferi is a black metal band founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina by drummer Inferi Black (Sebastián Rodríguez), who released the debut album "The Call of the Dark Side" in 2000 and went on to record "The End of a Weak Nature" (2009) before relocating to Austria in 2013. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2018 with a new lineup and released the fourth full-length "Fourth Portal" in April 2020.
