Lunar Aeon is a black metal band from Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, whose lineup includes members Hades (vocals/guitar), Blackwolf (guitar), and Tenebrous (drums). The band released the EP Veritas Lúcifer in 2019, a six-track recording centered on Satanic and occult themes, recorded and mixed at Caverna Studio by Cláudio Renato.

Lunarie is a Brazilian raw black metal project formed in 2024, operating independently and releasing material through their own Bandcamp page. In their debut year the project issued at least two recordings, Dawn of the Satanic Order and Natural Obsolescence, establishing a stripped-back, lo-fi aesthetic typical of the raw black metal underground.

Their 2013 album Black Seeds ov Obscure Arts, written and recorded between March and October 2012, draws on Satanic and occult themes and showcases the band's dense, atmospheric approach to the genre.

Lutemkrat is a black metal project from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, founded by the sole member Wolf Lutemkrat in 2002 and first releasing music in 2003 with the EP Never Surrender. The project draws heavily from the second wave of black metal and has built an extensive discography spanning multiple full-lengths including The Last Survivor (2007) and Circumscribed in a World of Senses (2016), with lyrical themes revolving around war, battle, honour, and philosophical darkness.

Luthien is an Argentine power metal band documented on Encyclopaedia Metallum with a discography that includes the albums Sombras del ayer and Sangre y Cenizas (2008, self-released, 11 tracks in Spanish). Sangre y Cenizas features songs such as "Ave Fénix," "Camposanto," and "La Mascarada," demonstrating the band's melodic heavy metal style with Spanish-language lyrics. The band takes its name from the Tolkien character Lúthien Tinúviel.

Their 2023 album Until the Void, released by the French label Drakkar Productions, carries particular weight as it was completed amid the death of bassist Necromayhem during the recording sessions, making it a tribute to a fallen member and one of the band's darkest records.

Lux in Tenebris is a progressive heavy metal project from Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina, built around guitarist, bassist, and drummer Walter Erles (formerly of Armagedón), with vocalist Adso Maidana and keyboardist Alberto Méndez. Erles handles all recording, mixing, and mastering duties in-house; their catalog includes the self-titled debut (2014), Sangre Inocente (2017), and Cultus Paganus (2022). The band's seven-track third album Cultus Paganus, released June 2022, includes the epic ten-minute closer "Imperio de mil blasfemias."

Lux Inferium is a black metal project from Chavantes, São Paulo, Brazil, conceived by the musician known as Funestus and rooted in industrial black metal influences ranging from Limbonic Art and Mysticum to the Brazilian extreme metal tradition. The project's early recordings, including the Black Souls Procession demo (2006), later served as source material for Funestus's subsequent band Sadomystic, with re-recorded versions appearing on that group's later releases.

Luxúria de Lillith is a melodic black metal band from Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, founded in 1998 by drummer and vocalist Alysson Drakkar, who remains the sole original member across a lineup that has included more than 25 musicians over the years. The band writes all lyrics in Brazilian Portuguese and explores themes of vampirism, Satanism, and occultism across a catalogue that includes A Volúpia Infernal (2005) and Géhènnòm (2019), the latter recognized as a significant work in Brazilian black metal and the subject of academic study at the Federal University of Goiás.
