Hanagorik is a thrash and groove metal band from Surubim, Pernambuco, Brazil, formed in 1991 and one of the most enduring metal acts from the country's northeast. The band released a series of recordings including the demos Screaming Again (1995) and the full-length Uncivil (1997), followed by For Kids With Some Problems (2002), the latter issued during a second European tour that took them through Germany, Austria, and Belgium. They also released the EP Alceu ao Nosso Jeito (2012), a notable tribute to Pernambuco folk icon Alceu Valença reimagined in a metal context.

Handsaw is a technical brutal death metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2011 and currently active after a hiatus. Hangar is a progressive power metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, originally formed in 1997 by drummer Aquiles Priester, who later became known for his work with Angra. Harllequin is a heavy and power metal band from Brasília, Brazil, that formed in 2005 and has gone through periods of activity and hiatus. The band released the full-length album Hellakin Riders in September 2012, a ten-track record recorded, mixed, and mastered at Broadband Studio in Brasília. Their work appeared on the compilation Brasil Metal Union 2005, establishing them as part of the Brazilian metal underground.

Harmony Fault is a goregrind and brutal death metal band from Lajeado, Brazil, active since 2002 and dedicated to splatter-themed extreme music. The band released their debut demo Pedaços de Carne Podre in 2002, followed by the full-length Rotting Flesh Good Meal in 2011 and Savage Horror Dementia in 2014, the latter recorded at Beto Estudio in Lajeado. Their 2024 release Gore Beyond Blood, issued through Old Grindered Days Records, featured the lineup of Calebe, Guilherme, Pulga, and Monteiro.

Harpoon is a heavy metal band from José C. Paz, Buenos Aires province, rooted in the tradition of Argentine metal (Metal Argento) shaped by pioneering acts like V8 and Hermética. The band has released three studio albums — Grito de Rabia (1998), Batalla Eterna (2006), and Tu Mismo Pensar (2011) — with a lineup anchored by vocalist Ramón Duré, guitarists Alejandro Burgos and Hernán San Martín, bassist Rafael Florentín, and drummer Daniel López. Batalla Eterna was recorded and mastered at Crazy Rabbit Studios and produced by the band alongside Ariel Ranieri.

Harppia is a heavy metal institution from São Paulo, Brazil, tracing their roots to 1982 when vocalist Jack Santiago and guitarist Hélcio Aguirra formed the precursor band Via-Láctea, officially adopting the Harppia name in 1983 in tribute to the harpy eagle. Their 1985 debut EP A Ferro e Fogo, released on Baratos Afins, is widely considered one of the first heavy metal EPs of its style recorded in Brazil, with the track Salém (A Cidade das Bruxas) becoming a Brazilian metal anthem. In 2008, the band performed before more than 50,000 people at São Paulo's Virada Cultural in celebration of their 25th anniversary.

Haruspex is a black metal band from Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, blending traditional black metal with blackgaze, ambient, and industrial influences. The band released a self-titled album on October 20, 2022, featuring members Yan Moroz on guitar and vocals, Eddie Freire on drums, and Rodolfo Charelli on synthesizers, with mixing and mastering handled by Jonathan Rissi. Their thematic material draws on historical and classical subjects, including dedications to the barbarian sackings of Rome.
