Empire of Souls is a black metal band from Santos, São Paulo, Brazil, with roots going back to 1995. The band draws on themes of occultism and Satanism, and released their debut full-length Revenge Circle through Nocturnal Age Records in 2003, later returning to activity after a hiatus with a 2015 single Si Vis Pacem, Para Belum.

Empusa was a raw black metal band from Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2006. The band operated as an unsigned independent project with Satanic lyrical themes, releasing material including a split cassette titled Luxuria Infernal with Last Profanation before eventually splitting up.

Empúrios was a progressive metal band from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2010 and active until around 2018. They released their debut album Cyclings in 2013 through Alternative Music Records, a twelve-track conceptual work exploring the cyclic nature of human experience, featuring a guest appearance by André Matos on the track Over The Fire.

Emuthry is a black/death metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, formed in 2023. The four-piece, comprising Diguinho Ferreira on vocals and guitar, Davi Caruccio on guitar, Leo Heldwein on bass, and Bia Martins on drums, released recordings including the demo Rehearsal Tapes and tracks Decease of Humanity and The Ruin of The Lord before going on hold.

En Fandens Ridder was a symphonic and avant-garde black metal band from Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil, formed in 2011. The band released their debut demo Forest of Thy Light in July 2011, a six-track recording blending black metal with experimental and atmospheric elements before splitting up.

En la Niebla is a stoner/doom metal power trio from Córdoba province, Argentina, formed in 2021 by guitarist and vocalist Mariano Sacchi, bassist Matias Ghirlanda, and drummer Elo Ciaccio. The band released their debut album, El Limbo de los Callados, on December 13, 2022, a set of fuzz-heavy, low-tuned tracks sung in Spanish with occult and esoteric themes.

Enarmonika was a symphonic metal band from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, blending classical instrumentation — violin, cello — with heavy guitars, bass, and drums, and pairing growled vocals with operatic singing. The band released their debut EP "Duality" in November 2014, recorded and mixed at The Magic Place Studio in Florianópolis, drawing on members with backgrounds in classical, rock, and metal.

Encarnación is a heavy/thrash metal band from Mendoza, Argentina, that identifies their sound as "Trash metal Cuyano" — thrash rooted in the Cuyo region — drawing influences from Testament, Megadeth, Kreator, and Overkill. The band has released a self-titled debut album and the EP Consecuencias del Pasado, with a lineup that has featured vocalist Martín Velásquez, bassist Marcos Delamer, guitarists Horacio Velásquez and Alejo García, and drummer German Ramos; they have also represented Argentina at the South American Trash Metal Fest in Santiago, Chile.

Encoffined is an old-school death metal band from Córdoba, Argentina, formed in 2015 and deeply influenced by the Swedish death metal scene of the 1990s — particularly Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, and Grave. The band has released three full-lengths: Enclosed in a Coffin (2015), Casket Citadel (2019, on Disembodied Records), and Cloak of Despondency (2021), with a lineup including vocalists Leandro Smith and Leonardo Gonzales, guitarist Juan Taricco, bassist Facundo Urriche, and drummer Marcos Cordoba.
