Death/thrash metal duo from Brasília, formed in 2020 by Iury Morais (drums and vocals) and Gabriel Zenön (guitars and bass). Their debut EP Sign of Hatred was released on June 2, 2020, mixed and mastered by Morais at Witchtrap Studios, and includes a cover of Diabólico e Sinistro by Bispo Bizarro.
Death/thrash metal band from João Pessoa, Paraíba, formed in 2006 as a power trio comprising Ricardo "Grind" Henrique (bass/vocals), Osmair Luiz (guitars), and Vitor "Vespa" Alves (drums). The band released the full-length Living in Terror independently, followed by Narrations of Human Insanity in 2024 through a consortium of Brazilian labels including Blizzard Records, Capa Preta Records, and TGR Sounds.
Terror Society is a death/thrash metal band from Santiago, Chile, formed in 2013 and signed to Chargola Rec & Prod. The band built their catalog through a series of demos and EPs before releasing their debut full-length "There's No Tomorrow" in 2022, followed by "The Scars of Mankind" in 2025.
Thrash metal band from Rio de Janeiro, formed in November 1996 by vocalist Alexandre "Chakal" and active in the underground circuit from 2001 onward. The band released two independent albums — Neurotic World (2004), which sold over 600 copies internationally, and Euthanasia (2008), distributed across Brazil, Germany, the United States, Portugal, and Italy.
The Estigma formed in Santa Fe, Argentina in 2003 out of the hardcore punk group Última Advertencia, and their self-titled debut full-length the same year reached Europe through international distribution. Their 2007 album Los Sicarios del Negocio was produced by Flavio Cianciarulo of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, a notable crossover between Argentina's punk/metal underground and its mainstream rock world. The band returned in 2023 with the EP Si Vis Pacem…, their first new studio material in six years.
Heavy/thrash metal band from Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, formed in 2020 with a lineup of Fred Assis (vocals), Evandro and William (guitars), Bernardo (bass), and Wesley Marcondes (drums). The band released the six-track EP Paenitet in 2021, accompanied by an acoustic Unplugged Sessions version of the same material.
Thrash metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, formed in 1989 under the name Mayhem before adopting their current name. Their debut album Phantasmagoria (1989) featured Vladimir Korg, who had previously fronted Belo Horizonte's Chakal, while guitarist Jairo Guedz — an original member of Sepultura — joined after both founding guitarists departed, including the death of guitarist Reinaldo "Cavalão" Bedran. After three further albums — The Hangman Tree (1991), ...Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust... (1993), and Gottverlassen (1995) — the band dissolved in 1997 and reformed in 2018, returning with The Dark Side of the Soul (An Anatomy of the Soul) (2025) on Alma Mater Records, their first studio record in thirty years.
Death/thrash metal band from Belo Horizonte formed in 2020 by Jairo "Tormentor" Guedz, who played guitar on Sepultura's Bestial Devastation (1985) and Morbid Visions (1986). The band released their debut album Antichrist Reborn in April 2022 on Alma Mater Records — mixed by Peter Tägtgren at The Abyss Studio and featuring guest appearances from João Gordo (Ratos de Porão) and Alex Camargo and Moyses Kolesne (Krisiun) — and followed it with A Mass to the Grotesque in May 2024, with cover art by Dan Seagrave.
Black/speed/thrash metal trio from Caruaru, Pernambuco, composed of T. Impuro (vocals, bass), W. Sabazius (guitar), and HSR (drums). Their debut full-length O Fim was released on September 22, 2022 via Excarnation Records, recorded at Lá em Casa Estúdio between November 2021 and February 2022.
