R.I.P. Soldier was a thrash metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, who recorded their sole album The True Soldiers Never Die between October 2009 and January 2010. The ten-track album — drawing influences from Bay Area thrash and Sepultura's Beneath the Remains era — was released in 2014 through GS Productions in a limited edition of 100 digipak CDs.
Radio Resistencia is a heavy/thrash metal band from Bogotá, Colombia. They released their self-titled debut full-length in 2025, operating as an independent act on the Colombian underground metal scene. The band formed in 2014 according to Metal Archives and remain active.

Their five-track EP Shattered Shield, released on March 20, 2026, moves across melodic death metal, thrash, and epic heavy metal and was independently produced by the band.
Rankatoko is a thrash metal and hardcore band from São Paulo formed in 2019, with a lineup of Marcelo Viera on vocals, Eduardo Xaxa on guitar, Alex Souza on bass, and Eduardo Jamaica on drums. Their debut release, the three-track EP Chacina e Posse, was recorded live at Greenhouse Studio in São Paulo and released on January 20, 2019.
Raptores is a thrash metal band from Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, formed in 2010. They released their debut EP Forgotten Is Not Dead in September 2010 and followed it with the full-length Age of Fear in May 2012 on Genocidio Records, a ten-track album that incorporates thrash, death metal, and traditional heavy metal influences.
Ratos de Porão (Portuguese for "Basement Rats") formed in São Paulo in November 1981 and went on to release Crucificados pelo Sistema in 1984, the first hardcore punk LP issued by a Latin American band. Vocalist João Gordo joined for that debut and has remained the band's frontman ever since; their 1987 album Cada dia mais sujo e agressivo is widely credited as the first Brazilian crossover thrash record of note, and the band has since released more than fourteen studio albums while continuing to tour South America, North America, Europe, and Asia.
Real Insane is a thrash metal band from Ibiúna, São Paulo, formed in 2018, with a lineup of Rodrigo (guitars, vocals), Bruno (guitar), Paulo (bass), and Cidão (drums). Their debut release was the six-track EP Underworld, recorded at Laboratório Underground in May 2018 and released the following month.
Realidade Encoberta is a crossover thrash band from Recife, Pernambuco, originally founded in 1987 by Nado and Daniel Malcriado; the band disbanded after Nado's death and reconstituted in 2013 with a new lineup anchored by vocalist Carlos Underground and guitarist Túlio Falcão. Since the reunion they have released Momentos Antes do Caos (2014), Morte e Progresso (2016), and Não Vivamos Mais Como Escravos (2019), the last of which closes with a Minor Threat cover.
