The band documented their ferocious early attack across the demos "Thrashing Assault" (1988) and "Anachronic Disease" (1990) before releasing their debut album "Disbelieved World" in 1993, and returned to activity after a decade-long hiatus.

Operating out of Rondônia's small but tight-knit metal community, Morte Lenta plays raw, no-frills thrash with roots in Destruction, Slayer, and early Sepultura. The band released a demo in 2016 and has continued building a catalog rooted in the stripped-down, aggressive side of the genre.

After roughly 18 years of inactivity, the band reformed with vocalist Nilton Bobato and guitarist Zepa Costa among its ranks, picking up where their gritty, war-themed death/thrash left off.
