Kadavro is a death/thrash metal band from Neuquén, Argentina, whose members perform under pseudonyms El Cadaver, G.G, Machacador, and Weedfinder. They released two records in 2021 — Evil Entities from the Hidden Past through Evil Damnations Records, and Paladar Negro — before following up with Procession of Evil in 2024.
Kamala is a thrash metal power trio from Campinas, São Paulo, formed by vocalist and guitarist Raphael Olmos alongside drummer Isabela Moraes and bassist Zé Cantelli. The band blends death and thrash metal riffing with oriental melodies and completed seven European tours, resulting in the live album Live in France (2019), which was widely cited as one of the best Brazilian live metal releases of that year. Their sixth studio album Karma (2023), released through French label M&O Music, further cemented their international profile, and the band was featured in the Diabolus in Musica exposition at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2024.
Katástrofe is widely regarded as the longest-running thrash metal band in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, with roots tracing back to 1994. Over their career the band has shared stages with major Brazilian metal acts including Dorsal Atlântica, Vulcano, and Ratos de Porão, and built their following on tracks such as "Labirinto da Morte" and "Pax Romana." The current lineup features Fernando Alemão on drums, Roberto on vocals, Faiska on bass, Eduardo Kadaver, and Lelo Reinoso on guitars.
Kausa y Efecto is a thrash/crossover band from Viña del Mar, Chile, playing in the tradition of the Valparaíso-region extreme metal scene. They released the album Estado de Control and have performed alongside acts such as Torturer, Acrostic, and Metastasis at Chilean metal festivals including Bay Area Assault.
Keter is a death/thrash metal band from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, featuring vocalist Bawdy, guitarists George Lessa and Yury Duplat, bassist Fagner Nascimento, and drummer Renato Corpse. The band released a self-titled demo in 2008 and the live EP Caçadores das Trevas in 2009, and was elected the best metal band in Bahia by readers of Whiplash in 2010. They also contributed a track to the Headhunter D.C. tribute compilation A Deathmetallic Brotherhood in Darkest Mourning for God (Mutilation Productions, 2016).
Kill Hill is a power/thrash metal band from the Quilmes area of Buenos Aires, Argentina, who released their self-titled debut album in 2018, recorded and mixed by Ivan Iñiguez at Absolute Studios in Berazategui. Their second full-length, Tetrinencia, followed in December 2022 — recorded at De La Wave Studios between 2021 and 2022 — and was dedicated to the memory of guitarist David Gómez.
Killery is a groove/thrash metal quintet from São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, formed in 2019. Their debut album, Ready for the Apocalypse (2019), features nine tracks that blend aggressive thrash riffing with melodic elements and unconventional harmonic progressions, and was independently recorded and mixed at Killery Studios and KM4 Produções in São Luís. The cover art was produced by Caio Caldas, a designer known for work with Paul Di'Anno, Doro, and DragonForce.
Killing Fields is a thrash metal band from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, with roots going back to 2002. Citing Bay Area old-school thrash as their primary influence, the band re-emerged in 2020 and released the four-track EP When Nuclear Nightmare Turns Real (March 2021), recorded at Invisible Horizons Studio with members Cid Oliveira on vocals, Roberto Phrankson on rhythm guitars and bass, Otávio Magão on lead guitar, and T-Rash on drums. The EP's lyrical themes center on nuclear apocalypse, social collapse, and existential dread.
Killing Mass was a death/thrash metal band from Santiago, Chile, whose sole known release is the 2017 EP Bloody Lands — a five-track recording encompassing both old-school thrash and death metal styles. The band has since split up, leaving Bloody Lands as their only documented output.
