Hocnis is a thrash and death metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, active since 2010. The band released the Demo(niac) in June 2010 and the three-track EP SS Ourang Medan in October 2016, the latter taking its name from the legendary ghost ship story and available across major streaming platforms.

The release was described as "unholy black/thrash from Brazil" and represents the band's key recorded output before their split.
