El Árbol de la Horca is a Santiago-based extreme metal band that debuted in 2025 with the EP Abismo Inevitable, a five-track release combining crushing sludge doom, stoner heaviness, and bursts of grindcore intensity. The band describes their sound as slow, heavy, and miserable, punctuated by occasional injections of merciless brutality.

Electrozombies are a Santiago trio — Comegato on guitar and vocals, Marcela Z on fuzz bass, and Paola Z on drums — playing a down-tuned blend of old-school death metal, sludge, and crust. Their discography includes the 2013 full-length Skull of Chaos and the 2024 album Ancestral Terror, with the band drawing conceptual inspiration from consumerism, electrification, and slow, putrid heaviness.

Elephantus is a stoner/doom duo from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil, formed in 2020 by vocalist and guitarist Marcelo Maus and drummer Andrei Mamede. The band fuses heavy riffing with psychedelic and Brazilian northeastern folk influences, releasing their self-titled debut EP through Electric Funeral Records in June 2020 and the full-length Solstício in 2025.

Erasy is a sludge/stoner/doom metal band from Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath and the slow, heavy end of the metal spectrum. The band has released three studio albums — The Valley of Dying Stars (2016), Under the Moonlight (2018), and Some Nice Flowers (2020) — through Dopesmoke Heavy Music Productions, and has performed at regional festivals including the Dopesmoke Festival.

Espermaticidio is a stoner/doom power trio from Santiago, Chile, active since the 1990s with early recordings dating to 1993 and material written through 1998. The trio — Gonzalo Garcia on bass and vocals, David Véliz on guitar, and Rodrigo Villalobos on drums — blends Sabbathian proto-doom with heavy psych and fuzz rock, singing in both Spanish and English. Their 2025 album Kalkutun, released through their own Bandcamp, is considered their strongest output to date.

Experiencia Tibetana is a psychedelic doom trio from the Buenos Aires area featuring Walter Fernandez on guitar and vocals, Leandro Moreno Vila on bass, and Gaston Saccoia on drums. The band released Vol I in 2020, recorded at Santuario Studio with guitars and bass tracked as early as 2014, and followed it with Vol II in April 2022, both albums built around lengthy, hypnotic compositions that move between drone, heavy stoner riffing, and ambient passages. A live recording, Aldea Sesión, was captured in Banfield in August 2022 and released the same year.

Faceless Empress is a stoner heavy metal band from Valparaíso, Chile, formed in 2022, drawing comparisons to Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and desert rock acts like Kyuss and Dozer. The four-piece released their debut EP The Escapist in August 2024, produced and mixed at Magia Negra Studios.

Fat Grass is a stoner/doom metal trio from Córdoba, Argentina, built around guitarist and vocalist Hernan "Alcoholica" alongside bassist Franco Mascaro and drummer Marcos "Lobo" Sosa. The band released their debut album "Deep Trip" in 2010, followed by "Shadows" in February 2022 and their self-titled third album in March 2025, and toured the West Coast of the United States in 2015.

Forsik was a heavy/stoner metal band from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, formed in 2012, consisting of Marcelo Medonho on guitar and backing vocals, Leandro Vidal on drums, and Afonso Bistura on bass and vocals. The band released the promo Bicho Caveira in 2012 and the album Mundo Sem Luz in 2015, drawing influence from Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Red Fang.
