Asterias is a stoner/sludge metal band from San Juan, Argentina, featuring Diego Oliver and Juan Montané sharing guitar and bass duties alongside Rodrigo Cardozo on guitar and Pedro Romano on drums. The quartet released Hijo de una Tormenta in 2021, a record that channels the heavy, riff-driven energy of South American stoner rock into dense, atmospheric territory.
