Ivory Gates are a progressive metal band from Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2000 and named after the Fates Warning song "The Ivory Gate of Dreams." Khallice is a progressive metal band from Brasília, Brazil, founded in 1994 by guitarist Marcelo Barbosa, who later joined Angra and Almah. The band released their debut album The Journey in 2003 via Hellion Records, followed by a worldwide reissue through Magna Carta Records in 2007 and the EP Inside Your Head in 2008. In early 2008 they won a contest to open for Dream Theater at Citibank Hall in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most visible showcases for a Brazilian progressive metal act at the time.

Kosmus is a progressive metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, founded by guitarists Pedro Acker and Sebastian Viret. The band released a self-titled debut album in July 2016, followed by Eudaimonia in 2018, blending heavy riffing with progressive rock textures, jazz-influenced keyboards, and saxophone. Their lineup expanded to include bass, keys, and drums to realise an ambitious fusion of metal and Brazilian progressive music.
