Dragonheart is a power metal band from Curitiba, Brazil, one of the most prominent acts in the Brazilian power metal scene. The band released their debut album Underdark in 2000, followed by the well-regarded concept album Throne of the Alliance in 2002 and Vengeance in Black in 2005, with continued activity through The Battle Sanctuary in 2015 and beyond. Notably, the British band DragonForce originally used the name DragonHeart before changing it to avoid confusion with this Brazilian act.
