Dragonheart is a power metal band from Curitiba, Brazil, one of the most prominent acts in the Brazilian power metal scene. The band released their debut album Underdark in 2000, followed by the well-regarded concept album Throne of the Alliance in 2002 and Vengeance in Black in 2005, with continued activity through The Battle Sanctuary in 2015 and beyond. Notably, the British band DragonForce originally used the name DragonHeart before changing it to avoid confusion with this Brazilian act.

Dynasty of Metal is a Christian power metal band from Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, Brazil, founded by vocalist Nahor Andrade with roots going back to 1996 under the name Dynasty. Ecclesia is a heavy/doom-influenced power metal band from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, active since 2017. The band released the EP "Witchfinding Metal of Doom" in 2017 and the full-length debut "De Ecclesiæ Universalis" in 2020, followed by "Ecclesia Militans" in 2024. Their sound draws on the classic doom and heavy metal traditions of Candlemass and Black Sabbath while incorporating epic, medieval lyrical themes centered on the Inquisition.

Edu Falaschi is the solo project of Eduardo Falaschi, the Brazilian vocalist best known as the frontman of Angra from 2001 to 2012 and founder of progressive metal band Almah. Launched as a solo outlet in 2016 with cover releases, the project produced its first album of original material with the concept record "Vera Cruz" in 2021, a progressive power metal work drawing on Brazilian folk influences and featuring guest appearances from Max Cavalera and forró legend Elba Ramalho.

Ego Absence is a power metal duo from São Paulo, Brazil, formed around 2014–2015 by vocalist Raphael Dantas and guitarist Guto Gabrelon. The band released their debut full-length "Serpent's Tongue" in May 2020, a 12-track record that blends classic power and heavy metal influences with South American rhythmic sensibilities.

Erbio was a neoclassical power metal band from Viedma, Río Negro, Argentina, formed in 2001 with a lineup that included vocalist Matias Martinez, guitarist David Neumann, and keyboardist Jorge Amarilla. The band released one demo, Todos, in 2007 before eventually splitting up.

Exegesys is a heavy and power metal band from Colón in the Buenos Aires province of Argentina, whose lineup has included vocalist and guitarist Sebastian Valli, guitarist Santiago Ostoich, keyboardist Ezequiel Muzzi, and drummer Marcos Giulli. Their debut album La Guerra Continúa, released in 2008, spans thirteen tracks of fast, melodic heavy metal with neoclassical guitar influences and Spanish-language vocals. The record was noted for baroque-inflected guitar work drawing comparisons to the style of Yngwie Malmsteen.
