Sobibor was a heavy metal band from Wilde, Buenos Aires, Argentina that released the album "Furia y metal" and the subsequent album "Misantropía" (2012), the latter recorded and mixed in Bogotá, Colombia between February and June of that year. The band cultivated a raw, aggressive sound that led them to be dubbed "ruido primitivo sudamericano" (South American primitive noise), a description they eventually embraced as part of their identity before splitting up.

Power metal band from São Paulo founded in 1997 by Tito Falaschi and Rodrigo Arjonas; vocalist and producer Edu Falaschi, Tito's brother, joined the lineup before recording and co-fronted the band on their 1998 self-titled debut. The band released two more albums — Call to the End (2000) and Faces (2004) — before dissolving, while Edu Falaschi went on to become the lead vocalist of Angra in 2001.
