Barizon are a stoner/doom metal band from Rio de Janeiro who released their debut full-length "Towards the Rising Sun" in 2014 through Monstro Discos, recorded at Estúdio Superfuzz. Described as eight sludgy stoner doom rippers packed with hallucinogenic heaviness, the album drew comparisons to Down, Red Fang, and Mastodon, placing the band among Rio's more prominent underground stoner acts. The five-piece features Alexandre "Beef" Barbosa on vocals alongside Eduardo Sodré and Gabriel Zander on guitars.

Charles Soulz Project is a progressive rock/metal project from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, founded in 2020 by keyboardist and songwriter Charles Soulz. The project draws influence from artists such as Neal Morse, Pain of Salvation, Ayreon, Haken, and Steven Wilson, with lyrics exploring themes of human consciousness and social criticism. Hammer of the Gods was a stoner rock and metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, active around 2012. Mil Tormentas (Spanish for "A Thousand Storms") is a stoner rock and sludge metal band from Buenos Aires that formed in late 2013. They released their self-titled debut EP on November 1, 2014, recorded at La Nave de Oseberg, and put out their music through South American Sludge Records, the label founded by Sergio Chotsourian of Los Natas.

Stoner rock and metal band from Maceió, Alagoas, active from 2010 until splitting up, featuring Pablo Wilard on bass and vocals, Fábio Lyra on guitar and vocals, and Rodrigo Lacerda on guitar. The band released their debut full-length Sublime End in September 2012, recorded and mixed at Lylo Studios by the members themselves, followed by Tyran Sover in November 2013.

Stoner/doom metal band from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, founded in 2008 by guitarists Patrick Schafstein and Adriano, later joined by vocalist Nelson Macedo performing as King Lizzard. The band released the EP Snake Arms Woman in 2012, followed by the full-length Thrones in the Sky in 2016 on German label Kozmik Artifactz and Brazilian imprint Deathtime/Burning London. Their second album, Commanded by Cosmic Forces, was recorded at Black Hole Studio in Natal between December 2018 and April 2019 and pressed to vinyl by Kozmik Artifactz.

Stoner rock band from Joinville, Santa Catarina, formed in 2015 with a lineup of Fernando Schmitz (vocals), Angelo Bracht (guitar), Gustavo Hansen (bass), and Tutu (drums).
