Ripio is a La Plata, Buenos Aires heavy metal project driven largely by Eduardo Costanzo, who records and produces the music himself. The band released five studio albums between 2001 and 2013, including Condenado a Vivir (2001), Vengador de Perdedores (2009), and Marcado por la Locura (2013), the last of which features ten original tracks.

Rotor is a Buenos Aires heavy metal band formed around 2002, featuring Pablo Divita on vocals, Fabián Román on guitar, Alejandro Fugazza on bass, and Diego Rodríguez on drums. The band released two studio albums, Dos Caras and Mariposa o Serpiente (completed in December 2008), and performed live alongside Almafuerte at venues including Club Ezeiza and Cemento.
