Icon of Sin is a heavy metal band from Curitiba, Brazil, built around vocalist Raphael Mendes, who rose to prominence through viral YouTube covers in which he mimicked the voice of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson. The band recorded their self-titled debut album in Curitiba and released it in 2021 through Italian label Frontiers Music Srl, followed by the second album "Legends" in 2023. Their sound draws heavily on classic 1980s heavy metal, with Iron Maiden and Dio-era Black Sabbath cited as primary influences.
