Baixo Calão is a grindcore band from Belém, Pará, operating out of the Amazon region and representing one of the more distinctive voices in Brazil's northern underground extreme metal scene. Their sound is rooted in old-school grindcore — relentless blasts, caustic riffs — with lyrical themes targeting anti-religion, social decay, and political corruption. The band gained notable exposure through the European underground circuit, including a performance at the Obscene Extreme Festival in the Czech Republic.
Banni Conflict is a grindcore band from São Paulo that has been grinding since the mid-2000s with a discography spanning demos, splits, and EPs. Their 2015 EP "Cidadão Comun" is among their more notable releases, and the band appeared on international grindcore compilations including a 2014 tribute to Belgian grind legends Agathocles. The current lineup of Jander (vocals), Paulo PH (guitar), Fábio (bass), and Will (drums) continues to carry the São Paulo grind tradition.
Barks of Apocalypse was an experimental death metal/grindcore one-man project from Catanduva, São Paulo, active 2021–2023. Created by Billy Grind — who also runs the underground label Podreira Records — the project replaced human vocals with the recorded barks of his three dogs, directly inspired by the US band Caninus; the 2021 full-length Canis Lupus Familiaris combined grinding death metal riffwork with this canine-vocal concept.
BDSM was a Brazilian raw black metal, grindcore, and noise band that self-identified as "Junkie Black Metal," operating out of Inferno, Brazil from around 2016 to 2023. The trio — LL (bass/vocals), FG (drums), and DM (guitars) — released a string of lo-fi assaults including the demos "Primitivo Black Metal" and "Poser Demo," as well as the albums "Dark, Black, Blacker!!!" and "End," finishing their run with the EP "The Black Metal Drugged" (2023) on No Profit, No Money Records. Their themes centered on human degradation, sex, drugs, and hate, channeling the ugliest end of the Brazilian underground.
Benefactor was a death metal and grindcore band from Suzano, São Paulo, Brazil, active from 2011 until their split-up. The band operated in the extreme metal underground of the greater São Paulo area, blending the brutality of death metal with the speed and aggression of grindcore. They self-released material through Bandcamp during their active years.
Blast Bitch is a Buenos Aires death metal and grindcore trio featuring vocalist Constanza Liberte, drummer Arihell Ledo Agüero, and guitarist Pely Macchi. Their 2019 debut album Sociedad Manipulada — recorded at Tribal Record in Ramos Mejía — delivers 11 tracks addressing police repression, violence against women, and institutional corruption.
Bodhum is a death metal and grindcore band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, active since 2010. The band debuted with the EP "Sobre Homens E Porcos" in 2010 and has since released additional albums including "Causa Mortis", "Consórcio da Morte", and "Extremo". They participated in the 2020 Brazilian tribute compilation "A Brazilian Tribute To Nasum: Mieszko Lives", released through The Grind Records.
Bonesawer is a death metal and grindcore band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2024. The band plays aggressive extreme metal in the death/grind vein and is listed on Encyclopaedia Metallum as a current active act in Rio de Janeiro's underground scene.
Boto não é Golfinho was a death metal and grindcore band from Londrina, Paraná, Brazil, active until their 2022 split-up.
