La Tormenta was a São Paulo band formed in 2012 that took the unusual approach of fusing grindcore with viking metal. Their debut album Midgard Grind, released as a free download in 2012, featured guest appearances from Juninho of Ratos de Porão and musicians from Argentina and Germany. The project split up after a short run, leaving Midgard Grind as their primary documented output.

Lastima were a black metal and grindcore band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The band appeared on the limited compilation Satã Apareça II (Metal Reunion, 2016), a release pressed to 50 copies, with themes exploring apocalypse, anti-religion, and the self-destruction of humanity. They have since split up.

Lepra is a grindcore band from Moreno, Pernambuco, Brazil, formed in 2019. The band plays what they describe as "rough, fast and chaotic" grindcore rooted in the Pernambuco underground scene, with releases including the 2012 demo, the "Carniceiro" EP, and the full-length "O Ódio é a Minha Existência." They have also contributed tracks to Brazilian tribute compilations honoring Nasum and Agathocles.

Libidinous Suspirus is a brutal death metal and grindcore band from Belém, Pará, Brazil, founded by Brendo Marcos. The band released their EP "Church of Orgiastic Depravity" in October 2016, recorded across two studios in Belém, and have been an active presence in the extreme underground of northern Brazil since 2013.

Libranos del Mal is a grindcore and powerviolence band from Medellín, Colombia, formed in 2019 and signed to The Hills Are Dead Records. The band released several EPs including "Toda carne mortal debe arder" (2020), "El milagro del mayor dolor" (2023), and "Mortinato" (2025), culminating in their debut full-length "Las columnas del cielo tienen base en el abismo" in 2026.

Lymphangiomas was a sludge metal and grindcore band from Barranquilla, Colombia, active from 2022 to 2025 and released through Aborto de Perra Records. During their brief run the band issued several EPs and splits, including "64 Traxx," "Cancrum Oris," and "Gangrena De Fournier Vulvar," all released in 2022.
