A gothic doom/death metal band originally formed in Sapucaia do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, and now based in Porto Alegre, active since 1996 and among the longer-standing acts in southern Brazil's melancholic metal underground. Their discography includes Toward Nothingness (2009) and Passion (2015), with a sound rooted in My Dying Bride-influenced death-doom that incorporates violin and keyboards alongside vocals from a rotating cast; they appeared on a Brazilian tribute to My Dying Bride in 2020.
Aavah was a gothic/power metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, active from 2005 until their eventual split-up. The band blended melodic power metal with gothic atmosphere and Christian lyrical themes, releasing the EP A Night in the Wild Garden in 2006 and the single Endless Ocean in 2008. Their lineup featured vocalist Paula Kel alongside a full ensemble recorded through Kidman Estúdio.
Bloodforge is a gothic/doom/heavy metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, known for blending female vocals with male and guttural vocals, drawing influences from doom metal, gothic metal, 1980s heavy metal, and 1970s progressive rock. Lark Puden is a symphonic/gothic/power metal band from Rosario, Santa Fe, featuring vocalist Melani Hess alongside Nicolás Farante, Pedro Pablo Farante, and Nahuel Nieri. The band released their debut album "Stories of a Mind Gone Astray" on July 30, 2014, a 10-track, 46-minute record praised for its melodic hooks and heavy orchestration.
