Aasverus is a funeral doom metal project from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, formed in 2015 and part of Brazil's slowly expanding underground doom scene. The band deals in the slowest, most oppressive end of the doom spectrum — heavily distorted guitars, funereal tempos, and bleak atmospheric density that characterizes the funeral doom subgenre. Their Bandcamp presence reflects a DIY approach common to the Brazilian extreme underground.

A black and funeral doom metal band from São Paulo active since 2004, whose name translates as "Without Faith." The project — centered on N. (Marcos Felinto Santos) on guitar, synth, violin, and vocals — weaves funeral doom heaviness with psychedelic and post-rock textures, releasing a self-titled album in 2012 and "O sol fulmina a terra" in 2016, and eventually breaking their no-live-show policy to perform at São Paulo's Let There Be Doom festival in 2013.
