Bleak Transcendence is a funeral doom/death metal trio from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, formed in 2023 by Alexandre Antunes, Michael Siegwarth, and Wagner Müller. The band released their debut album "Mortuanima" in May 2025, a 48-minute work fusing the ferocious intensity of death metal with hauntingly slow funeral doom, enriched by synths, violins, and ethereal textures conveying desolation and introspection.

HellLight is a funeral doom/death metal trio from São Paulo, Brazil, comprising Fabio de Paula (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Robson Silva (drums), and Alexandre Vida (bass). The band has released a substantial catalog including "No God Above, No Devil Below" (2013) and "Journey Through Endless Storms" (2015), the latter earning praise for its balance of atmospheric keyboards, death growls, and melodic guitar work.
