Lábar'Oculto is a black/doom metal band from Piraju, São Paulo, formed in 2017, whose lyrics draw on poetry, literature, and occultism. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2020 through Misanthropic Records and Black Hearts Records, recorded at Amarello Sound Studio between 2017 and 2019. The album was preceded by the single Lábar'Oculto (Contravulgata) and a live recording from UMF XVIII.

Lâmmia is a stoner/doom metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2018, pairing heavy and dense riff-driven instrumentation with bluesy female vocals. Macacos da Manchúria is a death/doom metal project from São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2021 by brothers Alexandre Paloschi (vocals, guitars, drum programming) and Henrique Paloschi (bass, guitars). The band's name is a tribute to victims of Unit 731, and their debut full-length "Bessa" (2022) — recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely by Alexandre Paloschi — was composed and produced in a home studio between August and December 2021.

Magicus Pacha Moon is a Death/Doom Metal band from San Gabriel, Carchi, Ecuador, originally formed in 2001 and revived in 2019. Their 2021 debut album "Vientos de Immortalidad" draws on old-school death/doom influences, exploring themes of nature, solitude, and introspection through ten tracks recorded under the cold shadow of the Andean mountains. The band is currently active and releases through Wolfgang Records.

A ritualistic project fusing black metal ferocity with the suffocating weight of doom, Malaise Shire conjures dense atmospheres rooted in darkness and despair. Their 2022 release "Painful Ritual of Despair" showcases a brooding blend of tortured riffs and ceremonial dread, recorded entirely in Paraíba.

Mandrake — also known as Heráldica de Mandrake — is a stoner doom trio from La Serena, Chile who began releasing music in 2014 before adopting their extended name in 2017. Their 2019 EP Esto también pasará, released through Doomed and Stoned Records, draws on dissonant, heavily distorted doom paired with occult and anti-authoritarian lyrical themes, with artwork by guitarist and vocalist Francisco Rivera.

Mar de Grises was formed in Santiago, Chile in 2000, developing a death/doom sound that incorporated post-rock, ambient, and progressive elements into their dense compositional framework. Their debut The Tatterdemalion Express (2004) established them as a significant voice in South American doom, followed by Draining the Waterheart (2008) and Streams Inwards (2010), the latter named the top doom metal album of 2010 by Metal Storm's user base. The band dissolved in 2013 but announced a reunion in 2024, their catalog standing as one of the most ambitious in Latin American extreme metal.

Martyrdom have spent decades honing a suffocating brand of death/doom rooted in occult and ancient civilizations imagery, with slow, mournful riffs giving way to cavernous death metal blasts. After a 1997 demo and years of obscurity, they released the EP "Culto Primitivo à Morte" in 2017 and their debut full-length "Ritual Místico de Adoração à Sabedoria Ancestral" in 2018, recorded at Netuno Estúdio and mixed in Montreal.
