Páramo Bonzai is a stoner/doom/fuzz rock quartet from Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, formed in November 2018. The lineup consists of Enzo Cabezón on vocals, Rodrigo Luna on guitar, Andrés "Primo" Osvaldo on bass, and Joaquin "Pogo" Páramos on drums. They have released three records: the debut full-length Canis Majoris (2019), the follow-up EP Kwanyip (2022), and El Rey Del Abismo (2024).

Passional arrived from Belém's underground in 2023 with a short, prolific burst of doom-soaked death and thrash metal, releasing multiple records in rapid succession including I Cry... Tears of Blood and Sweet Revenge... To Kill You After My Death. Their material orbits crimes of passion, emotional devastation, and the violence that can emerge from betrayal, with extended compositions that sit at the bleaker, slower end of the death-doom spectrum.

One of the foundational acts in Brazilian doom/death metal, Pentacrostic formed in Osasco in 1989 and helped establish the sound on their debut "The Pain Tears" (1992), which incorporated material stretching back to their 1990 demo "Agony of Souls." Their follow-up "De Profundis" (1996) on Cogumelo Records is considered a rare and overlooked gem of the genre, and the band has remained active for decades as pioneers of the form in South America.

Piedra Cuarzo is a doom and stoner metal band from Jujuy, Argentina, formed in April 2019 from two pre-existing projects. The four-piece — Gonzalo Mariscal (bass), Nahuel Burgos (guitar), Antonio Cruz (guitar/vocals), and Marcos Rotten (drums) — released their debut EP "XUXUY" in September 2020, blending instrumental and psychedelic elements with heavy, sludge-inflected riffs.

Doom/sludge metal band from Mar del Plata, Argentina, formed in 2021 by Nacho Aloisi (guitar, vocals), Micaela Luca (bass, vocals), Rodrigo Jordan (guitar), and Lisandro Ordóñez (drums). Their self-titled debut album was recorded between September and November 2020 at Pretorius Homestudio in Mar del Plata and released in January 2021. The album was mixed by Micaela Luca and Ignacio Aloisi and mastered by Hernán D'Ambrosio at No Humanity Studiohome in Necochea, Argentina.

Psiconauta is a sludge and doom duo from Pernambuco, Brazil, consisting of Anderson Moss on vocals and guitars and Ad Luna on drums, active since 2012 and self-described as an "original Brazilian Sludge/Doom entity." The band released the two-track "Hunting Day" EP in December 2018, recorded and mixed at Pólvora Studio, and contributed the 14-minute track "Deep Mantra (Prajnaparamita Mantra)" to the Doomed & Stoned Latinoamerica Vol. I compilation in February 2018.
