World in Flames was a short-lived black/death metal project from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, formed in 2021 and active only briefly before splitting up. Zyx66 is an instrumental Heavy/Thrash/Death Metal project from Ilo, Moquegua, Peru, formed in 2020. The duo released three demos in 2022 followed by two full-length albums, Abandonen toda esperanza (2023) and Bajo el sonido del caos (2024).

Ébola is a death metal and deathcore band from Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed by guitarist and lead vocalist Mariano Cortés, drummer and backing vocalist Emanuel Ruiz Díaz, and bassist and backing vocalist David Bernasconi. The trio released their debut album "Síntomas" on December 6, 2014, a six-track record whose titles — "Camino Oscuro," "Placeres Internos," "Mente Retorcida," and others — reflect a preoccupation with dark psychological themes. The band registered the Ébola name and logo as a trademark in the Argentine federal district, underscoring their commitment to the project as a long-term independent act.
