Tormmentor formed in La Rioja, Argentina in 2008 — initially under the name Agramon before settling on their final name in July of that year — blending thrash and death metal with an lineup that included guitarists Martín Medina and Daniel Portal, drummer Jorge Díaz, and vocalist/bassist Emanuel Noceti. The project went on to release Saturnian Gate in 2021 and Dawn of Resurrection in 2025, all material written, performed, and produced by the sole member.
