Purulence was an all-female death metal and grindcore quartet from Botucatu, São Paulo, formed in 1992 by Alessandra (vocals), Simone (guitar), Cassia (vocals and drums), and Ludmilla (bass). The band released the split "Going the Putrid Reality" in 1995 alongside New York Against the Belzebu, and are documented as the first all-female grindcore band in Latin America.

Pustulent is a one-man death metal project from Sorocaba run by Leandro, who also performs in the band Cadaveric Mutation. The debut release "Purulent Flesh Infection," a five-track EP issued in 2024 on Iron Fortress Records, opens with a sample from Lucio Fulci's 1981 film House by the Cemetery and draws comparisons to Carcass for its gore-themed riffing; the same year saw a second release, "Septic Liquid Excretion," and an appearance on the split "Splitmas Gorefest."

Putrid Gore was a death metal band from Porto Velho, Rondônia, formed in 2011. Their sole recorded output, the five-track EP Extreme Dismemberment, was released on February 4, 2011, and features gore-themed material catalogued on Metal Archives under the splatter/death metal tag.

Putrido Sêmen is a death metal band from Simões Filho, Bahia, with a lineup of Uendel Necromaniac on guitar and vocals, Adelmo Terrible on bass, and Igo Brutogore on drums. Their debut recording Necrofagia, originally a four-track demo from 2010 recorded under the name Putrid Semen, was reissued in 2016 on Cemitério Records with nine tracks including rehearsal and live recordings.

Pyramidum is a black/death metal band from Quito, Ecuador, formed in 2022 and driven by themes of occultism, vitalism, and misanthropy. The band released their debut promo EP, El Halo del Sol, in 2023, which included three original tracks alongside a cover of Slayer's "Sex, Murder, Art."

Pútrido is a grindcore band from Mauá, São Paulo, formed by guitarist and vocalist Bruno Teixeira of Desalmado alongside vocalist Carlos Silvério and drummer Anderson Leonardo, both from Aftermath. Their debut EP Justiça? — seven tracks across 13 minutes — was released on February 10, 2023 after years of interrupted recordings, with all production handled in studios within Mauá.

Quilombo is a death metal and grindcore duo from São Paulo formed in 2018 by drummer and vocalist Panda Reis and guitarist-bassist Allan Kallid, both previously of the death metal band Oligarquia. Their debut EP Itankale — the word means "evolution" in Yoruba — was released in 2019 on Poluição Sonora Records and addresses the history of African slavery in Brazil across six tracks totalling 20 minutes.

Rache is a Brazilian black/death metal project formed in 2017, operating under the Acta Non Verba Rex label. Their 2019 demo Vril's Soldiers was later compiled alongside a 2020 rehearsal recording on the 2021 release Teutonic Soldiers of the Vril.

Radio Everett is a one-person metal project from Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro, created and performed entirely by Matheus Everett on guitar and vocals. The project spans grindcore, black metal, and death metal across a prolific Bandcamp discography, including the 2020 album Operação Belford Roxo and the 2024 release Operação Inferno: Belford Roxo, with recurring lyrical focus on Belford Roxo itself.
