In the Shadows is a doom/death metal band from Anápolis, Goiás, Brazil. The band contributed the track "De Profundis (the Chorus of the Damned)" to the Doomed Serenades Vol. 1 Brazilian doom metal compilation (2012) and later appeared on The Sound of Satanic Hellbangers Vol. III (2023), demonstrating a long-running presence in the Brazilian doom underground. Their music engages with themes of darkness, despair, and death common to the doom/death tradition.

Inanna was a death metal band from Santiago, Chile, formed in 2000 by guitarist Diego Ilabaca and vocalist/bassist Max Neira, drawing on Lovecraftian horror, ancient mythology, and progressive death metal influences in the vein of Morbid Angel and Cynic. Over a 25-year run they released three studio albums — Converging Ages (2008), Transfigured in a Thousand Delusions (2012), and Void of Unending Depths (2022, via Memento Mori Records) — before disbanding in August 2025.

Incarceration is an old-school death metal band founded in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil by guitarist and vocalist Daniel Silva, later completing its lineup in Hamburg, Germany with bassist Björn Freese and drummer Michael Koch. The band debuted with the "Sacrifice" 7" EP in 2013 on Dawnbreed Records—limited to 500 hand-numbered copies—and followed it with the full-length "Catharsis" (F.D.A. Rekotz, October 2016), a ten-track record drawing on influences from Sepultura, Slayer, and Repulsion. Incarceration has toured over twelve countries and appeared at festivals including Party San, Obscene Extreme, and Killtown Death Fest.

Incinerador is a death metal band from Porto Velho, Rondônia, Brazil, operating out of one of the country's most geographically isolated extreme metal scenes. The band released "Enterrado Vivo" ("Buried Alive") through the underground label Lux Ferre Prod & Distro, and also appeared on the 2015 tribute compilation We Worship Desaster with a cover of the German black metal act's "Into a Magical Night." Their lyrical themes center on war, hate, death, and blasphemy, placing them firmly in the raw, uncompromising end of Brazilian extreme metal.

Incinerated Clitorial Region was a death-grind band from São Cristóvão, Sergipe, Brazil, active between 2005 and 2008. The self-produced quartet—comprising vocalist Aubert, bassist Luciano, drummer Sidney, and guitarist Lucas—released the demo "Paranormal Impulse to Kill" in July 2007, their only documented recording. Their themes fell squarely within the gore and splatter subgenre of Brazilian underground death metal.

Incognosci is a death metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, formed in 2013 from the remnants of brutal metal project Necropse, with a sound rooted in 1990s old-school death metal. The band — featuring Iron Júnior on vocals, Jonathas Pereira on guitar, Marcos Medeiros on bass, and Braulio Drummond on drums — released their debut full-length A Biography of Madness in October 2020, recorded at AM Studios in Rio de Janeiro and mastered at Grindhouse Studios in Athens, Greece.

Incrust is a death metal band from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, featuring Moisés SG Grinder on vocals and bass, Guilherme Saldanha on guitar, and Mateus Oliveira on drums. Their debut album Baptized in Unholy Gore (2005) — a compilation of their 2001 and 2003 demos — was released on Ibex Moon Records after the band was discovered by Incantation's John McEntee, with mastering handled by Roger Beaujard of Mortician at Primitive Recordings Studio.
