Martyrdom have spent decades honing a suffocating brand of death/doom rooted in occult and ancient civilizations imagery, with slow, mournful riffs giving way to cavernous death metal blasts. Satanic Victory!!!" (2003). Their output also included "10 Anos de Bestial Massacre" in 2004 and "O Retorno à Batalha" in 2006, cementing a two-decade presence in the Brazilian underground before the band eventually dissolved.

Rooted in the South American underground, Mephistopheles play a morbid amalgam of doom, death, and black metal drawing from the same unholy lineage as Mystifier, Sarcófago, and Blasphemy.
