The album even includes a cover of Argentine rock legends SUMO, a nod to the broad musical literacy that underpins their sound. Their 2017 follow-up, 'Exterminio de Almas,' went deeper and darker — thirteen tracks recorded between June and July 2017 at 312 Estudio, with mixing and mastering by Juancho Huerta at Auditiva Records. Paradoxo carry on the northeast Brazilian tradition of raw, street-level crossover thrash, delivering hoarse vocals over fizzing drums and fast, dirt-coated guitar riffs that reach back to the sleazy underground of the 1980s. Their Sociedade EP (2018) established their sound with tracks like "Invasão" and "Massa de Manobra," packing nineteen minutes of manic thrash urgency.

Pigmachine were a short-lived São Paulo crossover thrash outfit whose members — Glauco on bass and vocals, Murillo Leite on guitar, and Fabio Moyses on drums — had previously played together in Apoleon. The band left behind a self-titled demo from late 1992, the "Nervum" split compilation with Apoleon in 1993, and the posthumously released "SP Punk / Studio Outtakes" in 1996.

Podrera have been a fixture of the Brasília underground since the late 1990s, playing a direct and aggressive brand of crossover that pulls equally from thrash metal, hardcore, and punk. Poison the Preacher is a thrash metal, crossover, and hardcore punk band from Bogotá, Colombia, formed in 2021. The band blends raw hardcore aggression with old-school thrash principles and released their debut full-length "Vs the World" in 2025 through Concreto Records. Their catalog also includes several singles and a split release from 2022–2023.

Possuído pelo Cão (PxPxCx) is a crossover thrash supergroup assembled from members of VIOLATOR, D.F.C., and Terror Revolucionário, dedicated to reviving the circle-pit mayhem of 1980s hardcore-thrash hybrids. Their 2008 debut Possessed in the Circle Pit — just over twenty minutes of anti-religious sarcasm, Hardcore energy, and Thrash riffing — also features a cover of Attitude Adjustment's "Grey World" and remains a beloved slab of Brazilian underground crossover.

Projeto Pancada is a crossover trio formed by veterans of the Santa Catarina underground, including members of Homem Lixo and Rhestus. Their debut album "Caos Geral" (2021) blends thrash riffs with hardcore aggression and sardonic Portuguese-language lyrics aimed squarely at pandemic-era Brazil.

Psicocancer are a thrash/speed metal crossover band from Santa Fe, Argentina, whose five-person lineup includes vocalist Rama Daneri, guitarists Lauti Daneri and Guillermo Nudel, bassist Leo Bonzzi, and drummer Eric Daneri. The band released their debut album La Reconquista independently in 2017, delivering politically charged thrash influenced by early Anthrax and Agent Steel.
