Xenoborg is a black metal duo from Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, composed of Irucyyne (guitars/vocals) and Urano (guitars, bass, drums, synthesizers, vocals). The band has released three albums: a self-titled debut in December 2012, "Umbra" in April 2014, and "U-CER" in March 2022, building a body of work around themes of genocide, extermination, and cosmic warfare.
Yajtay is a solo black metal project from Salta, Argentina created by the musician Wayrapaq, blending traditional black metal with Andean folk instruments including quenas, zampoñas, and sikus. The project released the demo "Wayrapi Waqay" in 2023, followed by the EP "Ayniy Kawsaypa" in February 2024. Lyrics are written in Quechua and the themes center on nature, paganism, and the landscapes of Salta's valleys and mountains.
Zalaam is a black metal duo from Lages, Santa Catarina, formed by Imperius Nockturno and Alysson Drakkar, two musicians who channeled the icy atmosphere of the Planalto Serrano highlands into a raw, primitive sound inspired by Venom, Bathory, Darkthrone, and Mayhem.
