Gion Enitelav is a one-man black metal project from Bahia, Brazil, created by a single musician working with guitar, bass, drum machine, and minimal home recording tools. The project has released several recordings including the demo "Heōsphoros," the album "Erebus," and "Waves of Pain." Its raw, DIY aesthetic is central to the project's identity.
Gloom Divine is a two-piece black metal band from the southern greater Buenos Aires area, founded in December 2004 by String Spirits (guitars, bass, drums) and Vaklav (vocals). After years active in Argentina's black metal scene, they released their debut demo in August 2013, remastered it in 2021, and followed with the full-length album "From Ancient Voices" in May 2022.
Gloomy Misanthropy is a one-man black metal and dark ambient project from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, driven entirely by the sole member known as Wandering Moribund. The project debuted with a 2016 demo and released its first full-length album, "Dark Procession from the Abyss," on July 11, 2021, through Astral Nightmare Productions, recorded and mixed at Wolf's Lair Home Studio between 2018 and 2020. Drawing on anti-cosmic Satanism and misanthropic themes, the project is rooted in the raw traditions of LLN, Abruptum, and Leviathan.
Goat Command were a black/thrash metal band from Constitución, Maule, Chile, active from 2010 to 2014 and released through the underground label Headbanging on the Pentagram. The band drew on the violent, chaotic energy typical of South American black/thrash, with lyrical themes centered on blood, violence, and rage.
Goat Emperor is a black metal band from Rio de Janeiro, originally formed in 1992 and revived around 2015, centred on the duo of Cesar Severus (vocals, guitar, drums) and Cecilia Katrini (bass/keyboards). Their debut recording Apopantos Kakodaimonos was tracked at Pepe's Studio in August 1993 and stands as one of the earliest entries in the Brazilian bestial black metal canon. The band has remained prolific across subsequent decades, with their 2025 album O Anticristo (Maldição ao Cristianismo) mixed and mastered by Severus at Gruta studio in Rio de Janeiro.
Goat Kommander was a death/black metal band from São Paulo, active from 2021 until their split-up. They released two recordings: Bestial Torment (April 2021), a five-track slab of chaotic black/death thrash, and Warfare Dynasty (February 2024). Their themes centred on satanism, blasphemy, and nihilism in the tradition of Brazilian bestial metal.
Goat Lord is a black metal band from Cachoeirinha, Rio Grande do Sul, whose formation date remains undocumented. Their only known recording is the thirteen-track demo In Septem Abruptus Imperations Tenebrae, captured in 1997, which places them within the raw, underground Brazilian black metal scene of that era. The band is independent and has released no material through major labels or distribution channels.
Goat Worship is a one-man black metal project from Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, formed in 2013 by the sole musician known as Hades. The project has released three albums — Blood and Steel (2016), Shore of the Dead (2018), and Breathing a Dark Past (2019) — each drawing on the primitive speed and rawness of early Bathory and Venom. Shore of the Dead in particular earned attention for its crusty, filth-laden take on first-wave black metal aesthetics.
Goatcult is a black metal band from Guarapuava, Paraná, formed in 2014 and signed to My Dark Desires Records. Their debut album Sacrifice for Evil (2017) is a nine-track statement of raw, anti-Christian black metal rooted in the traditions of the Brazilian underground. The band's themes revolve squarely around Satanism and the rejection of Christianity.
