The True Mierdum is a one-person raw black metal project from Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires, operated solely by the musician known as Mr. Fuck Khaos Occulta. The project released the full-length "Open the Gates, Carlos (El Portero del Diablo)" in July 2009 and "Under a Peronist Moon" in September 2013, blending harsh kvlt black metal aesthetics with sardonic Argentine cultural references to Peronism and football.

The band released the EP Isöken on January 12, 2020 — five tracks including "Drakens Blod," "Black Flames Rising from the Soil," and "Call of Death's Domain" — followed by the album Tales of Witchcraft in April 2020. A subsequent lineup addition brought in Darkned Werewolf alongside Necromantick.

In addition to the original black metal material released in the late 1990s, Thormianak released solo experimental recordings on Bandcamp, including the instrumental collection lost tracks II and extreme-metal settings of three poems by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa.

Thy Antichrist formed in Medellín, Colombia in 1998 under vocalist Andres Vargas, and has since relocated to Dallas, Texas while maintaining ties to the Latin American black metal scene. The band is regarded as one of the most significant black metal acts to emerge from South America, building a catalog over more than two decades that includes Wicked Testimonies (2004) and Wrath of the Beast (2018). Their music operates within orthodox black metal conventions while drawing on the intensity and rawness of the South American extreme metal tradition.
