White Death
White Death is a heavy metal band from Bom Jesus do Norte, Brazil, whose name is drawn from the legend of Finnish sniper Simo Häyhä, who earned the nickname "The White Death" during the 1939 Winter War against the Soviet Union. The band released their early single "Reaper of Corruption," which drew on that same historical subject matter and gained traction in Brazil's underground metal circuit. Their sound pulls from classic heavy metal touchstones including Iron Maiden, Dio, and Black Sabbath.
