Horrorfier

Horrorfier come from Catanduva, a mid-sized city in the interior of São Paulo state — far enough from the capital's saturated extreme metal scene to develop their own dialect, close enough to be drawn into the orbit of paulista death and grind. The interior of SP has long punched well above its weight in Brazilian extreme music; the cities ringing the metropolitan area and stretching toward the agricultural northwest have always supplied a steady current of brutal, no-frills bands who learn to play harder simply because the audience is smaller and meaner. Horrorfier fit that mold.
