Endless Exaltation

Endless Exaltation is a raw black metal project operating out of Águas de Lindóia, a small spa-resort town tucked into the inland hills of São Paulo state better known for its thermal springs than for any extreme music tradition. The project is the work of Everton Alves Dermiro, credited as sole composer on the 2025 single Infernal Reality, a seven-minute exercise in tape-hiss tremolo and ritual repetition issued through the small distributor SpaceMedia and circulated across Spotify and Qobuz alongside an Encyclopaedia Metallum entry. Endless Exaltation works within the long lineage of Brazilian raw black metal that runs parallel to the better-known Mystifier and Sarcófago lines, the inland and small-town strain that has long thrived through cassette and CD-R networks, Bandcamp imprints, and DIY one-person ventures rather than through São Paulo capital club circuits. The lyrical and aesthetic orientation leans religious and biblical, which places the project alongside the substantial Brazilian Christian and unblack metal current documented in compilations such as Christian Black Metal Brasil and run through small national imprints like Omnipotent Radio Records, though no formal label affiliation has been confirmed. Sonically, the seven-minute structure of Infernal Reality suggests the patient, drone-leaning side of raw black metal rather than the short-burst Les Légions Noires school, and the inland São Paulo location situates the project at a remove from the more crowded Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro extreme metal corridors. As a very recent emergence, Endless Exaltation remains an underground project whose recorded output is still limited to that single 2025 release, with no announced full-length or live activity at the time of writing.
