Carcinosi is a death metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, active since 1996 with reunions across multiple periods. The band self-released their debut demo "Transfigured in Cancerous Atrocities" in 1998 and continued releasing material including the full-length "Resumption" in 2019 via True Metal Records, with founding member Tiago Vargas (bass/vocals) as a consistent presence throughout their history.
