Blixten
Blixten is a female-fronted heavy metal band from Araraquara, São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2017 by vocalist Kelly Hipólito. Drawing heavily on classic 1980s metal acts such as Iron Maiden, Dio, and Motörhead, the band released their debut EP "Stay Heavy" in 2018, featuring five original songs recorded at Távola Studio in Araraquara. The group has been notable in the local scene for championing women's visibility in Brazilian heavy metal.
