Aphorism
Black and death metal band from Salvador, Bahia, active from 2014, fusing black metal and death metal with crust, punk, and grindcore influences. Their 2018 album "O Grotesco e o Desespero," released on Cospe Fogo Gravações and recorded at Estúdio Ruído Rosa in Salvador, explores themes of despair, resistance, and societal decay across ten tracks. The band also released the split "Aphorism / Rabujos" and the EP "I" (2014), making them one of the more prolific underground extreme acts to emerge from northeastern Brazil.
