Akraniuum is a Brazilian death metal and grindcore band active since 1992, making them one of the longer-running acts in Brazil's extreme underground. Their three-decade career places them in the same generational wave as the country's foundational extreme metal groups, combining the blasting brutality of grindcore with the riff structures of death metal.
