Raw black metal project from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, active between 2020 and its dissolution. The name 1835 references the year the Farroupilha Revolution erupted in the region, a decade-long separatist uprising that defines the cultural identity of southern Brazil, lending the band a distinctly regional character. With no Spotify presence and a short lifespan, 1835 existed firmly within the lo-fi Brazilian underground black metal tape and Bandcamp circuit.
