Kafziel is the solo instrumental progressive metal project of guitarist Pablo Cubilla from San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Argentina, who launched it in 2013. Cubilla, also a member of Rebhellion and Hatred Source, has maintained a prolific output across more than a dozen releases, including Defying Gravity (2015), Elements (2019), Ephemeral (2020), and Rewired (2024).

Karma is a progressive metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, founded in 1999 by guitarist Chico Dehira, whose debut album Inside the Eyes (2000) featured a guest appearance by André Matos and introduced bassist Felipe Andreoli, who would later join Angra. Their second album Leave Now!!! followed in 2005, cementing the band's place in the Brazilian progressive metal scene. After a hiatus of more than two decades, the band reunited for a live return in São Paulo in 2025.

His Bandcamp catalogue includes the albums Rotten Fingers, Outlandish, Skin Spots, and Miscellaneous, showcasing a versatile approach to progressive and instrumental metal. He also produces gear-review content on YouTube, writing original tracks to accompany each video.

Khallice is a progressive metal band from Brasília, Brazil, founded in 1994 by guitarist Marcelo Barbosa, who later joined Angra and Almah. The band released their debut album The Journey in 2003 via Hellion Records, followed by a worldwide reissue through Magna Carta Records in 2007 and the EP Inside Your Head in 2008. In early 2008 they won a contest to open for Dream Theater at Citibank Hall in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most visible showcases for a Brazilian progressive metal act at the time.

Kosmus is a progressive metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, founded by guitarists Pedro Acker and Sebastian Viret. The band released a self-titled debut album in July 2016, followed by Eudaimonia in 2018, blending heavy riffing with progressive rock textures, jazz-influenced keyboards, and saxophone. Their lineup expanded to include bass, keys, and drums to realise an ambitious fusion of metal and Brazilian progressive music.

Kruyssen is a progressive metal band from Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, led by guitarist, vocalist, and producer Israel Tenório alongside Pedro Silva (bass), Edson Estevam (keyboards/backing vocals), and Wesley Silva (drums). The band released their concept album Metanoia in February 2023, a record whose lyrics address life, human values, and personal transformation. The album's single "Mist" received a music video and was made available across all major streaming platforms.
