Echoes of Madness is a progressive heavy metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2020. The band released their debut full-length "Indepth Mind" in 2022, a nine-track album spanning progressive and melodic metal territory with tracks such as "Drowned in Madness," "Time," and "Scars from the Ashes."

Inquisicion is a heavy metal institution from Santiago, Chile, founded in 1993 by guitarist Manolo Schäfler alongside drummer Carlos Hernández, operating briefly as Santa Inquisición before shortening their name in 1995. Their 1996 debut Steel Vengeance was the first Chilean heavy metal full-length in nearly a decade and earned them the Breakthrough Band of 1996 award; the band has since released six studio albums, including the conceptual Codex Gigas (2014, Australis Records) — nominated for best Chilean metal album at the 2015 Pulsar SCD awards — and Preacher and Lust (2016), with the lineup having shared stages with Mercyful Fate, Judas Priest, and Blind Guardian over their three-decade career.

Guitarist Marcelo Souza spent six years in the thrash metal band Attomica (2014–2020), touring across South America before launching a solo instrumental career that draws on metal, neoclassical, blues, and progressive fusion. His 2021 album "Human vs Machine," released through Oversonic Music, features guest appearances from vocalists Mário Pastore and lap steel guitarist Luís Carlini, and explores the tension between human expression and digital dependency.

Mortticia is one of the leading NWOTHM acts to emerge from the south, blending classic 1980s heavy metal architecture with progressive and power metal sensibilities, drawing comparisons to Queensrÿche and Angra. The band released their debut EP "A Light in the Black" in 2020 — later issued on CD by Pest Records — and made a notable live statement when they opened for Angra in Porto Alegre in 2022.

XFears is a progressive heavy metal quintet from Campinas, São Paulo, led by vocalist and keyboardist Gabriel Carvalho alongside guitarists Marcelo Monteiro and Gilmar Cazagrande. The band released its debut album "The First" in 2021, recorded at XSTUDIOS in Limeira, featuring nine tracks including a Nevermore cover of "Believe in Nothing," before the project went on hold.
