Meraxes is a Buenos Aires melodic death metal and metalcore band formed in early 2015 around frontman Lucas "Luke" Borelli, with the current lineup also featuring guitarist Brian "Hardy" Gramajo, drummer Franco Capello, and bassist Diego Ibarra. The band released the EP "The Fallen Embrace the Hate" in February 2018 and followed it with "Goodbye" in January 2020.

A one-man project helmed by multi-instrumentalist Patrick Marçal, Noldor channels the melodic death metal tradition of the Gothenburg school through a home-studio lens darkened by Lovecraftian horror and philosophical despondency. Three full-lengths document the project's evolution: Condemned to Eternity (2017), Banned from Light (2020), and The Unknown (2022), the last of which weaves a four-part narrative drawing on Half-Life and H.P. Lovecraft.

Nova Darkness is a Chilean melodic death metal band that released their debut album Of Doom and Grief in November 2019, a ten-track record incorporating neo-classical and symphonic elements alongside death metal riffing. The band followed it with Nigredo Tenebrae in January 2024, continuing to develop a sound influenced by the melodic death metal tradition of the 1990s.

Prometherion grew from guitarist Vinícius Starteri's earlier project Alkimistal, fusing Swedish melodic death metal, New York hardcore, and Bay Area thrash into a sound the band calls modern death metal. The name is a neology blending Prometheus and Therion, reflecting a lyrical focus on how people endure hardship, and the band has maintained activity through SoundCloud and streaming platforms despite internal lineup turbulence.

Formed in Americana in 2017, Póstuma deals in Swedish-influenced melodic death metal built around the powerful clean and harsh vocal interplay of singer Bia da Aldea and the twin-guitar work of Rodrigo Batista and Júlio Alves. Their 2020 debut EP "Moralis" draws thematically on Greek mythology and philosophy, channeling the spirit of early In Flames and At the Gates into four tightly constructed tracks that balance aggressiveness with melody.

Rebhellion was a melodic death metal band from San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Argentina, featuring vocalist Walter Ortiz, guitarists Pablo Cubilla and Julian Garcia, bassist El Brujo, and drummer Nachi Fernandez. Among their releases was the 2018 album "Resistiendo al Poder," an 11-track record with socially themed songs including "Vuelos de la Muerte" and "Maltrato Social."

Release the Hell is a melodic death metal and metalcore band from San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, formed in 2015. They released their self-titled debut EP on September 11, 2015, a three-track digital release comprising the songs "Release The Hell," "At the End of My Reality," and "Total Disaster."

Ruins of Agony is a melodic death metal band from Talagante, Chile, formed in 1999 and currently on hold. The band released their debut EP R.O.A. in early 2019 through Insanity Records, followed by two demos, Ondas corrompidas and Psicofonías, in 2020.
