Founded in 2016, Vocifer has established itself as one of the leading representatives of Heavy Metal in Brazil. Throughout its career, the band has built a unique identity by combining elements of traditional Heavy Metal and Power Metal with narratives inspired by Amazonian folklore, popular traditions, and the rich cultural heritage of the Brazilian state of Tocantins, becoming a reference when it comes to promoting regional culture through heavy music. This work gained national and international recognition with the albums Boiuna and Jurupary, the latter inspired by the controversial Amazonian legend. The album featured guest appearances by important names from the Brazilian metal scene, such as Luis Mariutti, Thiago Bianchi, Daísa Munhoz, Fábio Laguna, Daniel Mazza, as well as Tambores do Tocantins, further reinforcing the recognition earned by the band and its mission to bring Amazonian culture to new audiences. The album led the band to sign with the Greek label Alone Records, which became responsible for the worldwide CD and vinyl distribution of Jurupary. Today, Vocifer consists of João Noleto on vocals, Lucas Lago on bass, Pedro Scheid and Gustavo Oliveira on guitars, and Rich Rodrigues on drums.
