Gallo Azhuu is a hard rock and heavy metal band from São Luís, Maranhão, whose name translates loosely as "blue rooster" in a Portuguese psychedelic spelling, drawing on the blues-heavy tradition of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and ZZ Top.
