Heavy/power metal band from São Paulo formed in 1988, among the earliest groups playing the genre in Brazil. Their debut album 'T.V.lization', recorded with contributions from Hugo Mariutti (Shaman) and released in 2004 on Hellion Records in Brazil and SoundHolic in Japan and Europe, featured vocalist Rick Ricci, guitarist João Racy, bassist Eduardo Gioielli, and keyboardist Charles Dalla.
Soul Steel was a symphonic death metal band from Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, formed in 2009. The band released the demo Código d' muerte in 2010 and the full-length Aetherium in 2011 before changing their name to Encrypter in 2012. Their Bandcamp page documents both releases and describes their sound as slow and aggressive beats merged with an atmospheric aura.
Heavy/thrash metal trio from São Paulo, formed in 2014 by bassist/vocalist Rick Spidrax, drummer André Leite, and guitarist Rafa Romanelli, with all lyrics written in Portuguese. The band released their debut full-length I in May 2017, a nine-track record with horror-themed subject matter, followed by Obituário in May 2020.

Stonegrunger is a heavy/groove metal band from San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentine Patagonia, known for a prolific run of numerically titled EPs: UNO (2017), DÚO (2019), TRY (2021), QAT (2023), and KIN (2024). All releases are self-published through their Bandcamp page, and the band sings in Spanish.

São Paulo heavy/power metal band formed in 2018, whose drummer Marcus Dotta recorded the posthumous Warrel Dane album Shadow Work (Century Media, 2018), tracking drums after Dane died of a heart attack in São Paulo in December 2017. The band released the EP Into the Fire on August 29, 2023, and followed it with Welcome (to the Dead) in 2024.
Heavy/thrash metal band from Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, formed in 2020 with a lineup of Fred Assis (vocals), Evandro and William (guitars), Bernardo (bass), and Wesley Marcondes (drums).
