Waliche is an indigenous-themed black metal project from Palhoça, Santa Catarina, Brazil, formed in 2022 and signed to Wintermist Records. The band centers its work on the culture and spiritual traditions of indigenous peoples of South America, releasing the demo Indigenous Lycanthropic Tyranny in 2023, followed by the full-lengths Proclamation of War and Waliche Yüt.
Warforged is a one-man black metal project from Arapongas, Paraná, Brazil, led by sole member Daeroth Inglorion, who handles all instruments and vocals. The project released the full-length album The Black Age of Light's Fall and has continued operating as an independent underground act rooted in occult black metal aesthetics.
Warmony is a black metal duo from Curitiba, Paraná, consisting of Profanuz on vocals and guitar and Vox Morbidus on vocals and bass. Warriors of Metal was a black metal band from Mafra, Santa Catarina, Brazil, active from 2003 until splitting up in 2016. The band explored themes of black magic, Satanism, and anti-Christianity common to the South American black metal underground, and appeared on the compilation "Endless Massacre III" released by Violent Records in 2009 with the track "Strengthened by the Shadows." They operated as an unsigned independent act throughout their existence.
Whore Illusion was a black metal band from Osasco, São Paulo, Brazil, active in the country's depressive and raw black metal underground. The project released "Desolation Part I" through Orlög Black Art and appeared on a split titled "Sala III" alongside Swedish act Bärkdum, as well as contributing the track "H(r)ope" to the "DSBM Brazil Vol. I" compilation released in 2019. The band split up after a run of releases that placed them within the Brazilian DSBM scene.
Wintercomes is a black metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, formed in 2010 and active under Tyrfing Records. Their 2013 demo Ångest established their signature sound, built around themes of depression and anti-Christianity. They remain one of the more consistent entries in Rio Grande do Sul's underground black metal scene.
Wintermoon is a black metal band from Salvador, Bahia, whose lineup includes GRYP on guitars, bass, and vocals alongside DAEVHORN, NAFRE, AKER, and SVARTHEIM. The band has released a string of recordings rooted in nature, animism, and ancient beliefs, including the EP Autarky, the Bathory tribute EP Heartfire, and the 2023 album Cold Sky Rising issued on CD digipak by Percussive Spectre. Their sound draws on raw atmospheric black metal while incorporating acoustic textures and orchestrations.
Wolflust is a war death/black metal project from Brazil conceived by Carlos Cernunnos (guitar, bass, vocals) and Mauro Trojillo (drums), drawing heavily on the chaotic bestial metal tradition of Sarcófago, Blasphemy, and Conqueror. The band released the "Satanic Megatons" EP in 2020, followed by the "Endless War" EP in 2022, which featured original tracks alongside covers of Sodom and Sarcófago. Their assault-driven sound and ties to the Brazilian extreme underground have earned them multiple physical editions of their releases across international markets.
Wolfskrieg is a Brazilian black metal band from Rio de Janeiro that has pursued a raw, old-school warfront metal sound since forming around 2010. The band has documented releases including "Cold March," available through Discogs, and maintains an active presence in the underground Brazilian black metal scene.
