Aypheros is a black metal band from Santiago, Chile, founded by guitarist and vocalist Jorge Pilquian (performing as Haizum), with current members including guitarist Ulthar, guitarist Rhaeadr, bassist H.S., and drummer Kerberos. The band has released three full-lengths — Ascendet Novissima Tua (2014), TziTzaudel (2018), and Impetu Spiritus (2023) on Umbrium Records — alongside the 2019 EP Oboth Iddeonim.

Azael was a black metal band from Pedregulho, São Paulo state, Brazil. Despite forming in 2025 and having an extremely brief lifespan before splitting up, the band operated within the raw black metal tradition common to the Brazilian interior underground scene. Details on their releases remain sparse.

Azog is a black metal project from Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed in 2018 and driven by the musician known as Azog the Hierophant. Operating within the raw and underground end of Argentina's black metal scene, the project carries on the tradition of abrasive South American black metal.

Azul Turquesa is a doom/black metal project from Paraíba, Brazil, founded by Mailton "Soturna Cröstä" Lemos as a DIY solo effort in late 2021 before expanding to a full lineup. The band blends the crushing weight of doom metal with the abrasive atmosphere of black metal, with vocals that shift between eerie spoken word and raw screams over slow, hypnotic riffs. Their debut demo and the EP "Pusilânime" explore themes of existential dread, depression, horror, and the macabre.
