Pronoia were a Buenos Aires progressive metal and djent instrumental quartet whose lineup included guitarists Chowy Fernandez and Gabbo Puente, bassist Bruno Tysak Fichera, and drummer Javier Cuello. The band released two albums during their run: Siniestresia in 2008 and Mimesis in December 2018, the latter demonstrating a heavier shift toward djent-inflected sounds before the group eventually split up.
